Yes, there definitely some collaboration features will come to this game. But at this stage of game development, it would be more practical to focus on single player features. That way we should get more players signing and staying in the game.
When current big updates will be finished, next one will be about writing and recording songs (and albums). I already thinking about how change it, to bring some complexity, but at the same time still keep simplicity of it.
So, probably we will have your mentioned changes without introducing collaboration features, but these also should come to the game later in the future.
